Step-by-Step Manual Drain Procedure
- Power Off Machine: Turn off the washing machine and unplug it from the electrical outlet for safety.
- Locate Drain Filter: Find the drain filter access panel, typically located at the bottom front of the machine.
- Prepare for Water: Place a shallow container or towels in front of the machine to catch any residual water.
- Open Filter Cover: Carefully open the drain filter cover using a flat-head screwdriver if necessary.
- Drain Residual Water: Slowly unscrew the drain filter cap to allow water to drain into your container.
- Clean Filter: Remove any debris, lint, or foreign objects from the filter and housing.
- Reassemble: Securely replace the filter and close the access panel properly.
