Water Drain System

Manual Water Drain Procedures

Tools Needed for Drain Maintenance:

  • Adjustable pliers
  • Bucket or container
  • Towels for spillage
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drain hose cleaning brush

Step-by-Step Manual Drain Procedure

  1. Power Off Machine: Turn off the washing machine and unplug it from the electrical outlet for safety.
  2. Locate Drain Filter: Find the drain filter access panel, typically located at the bottom front of the machine.
  3. Prepare for Water: Place a shallow container or towels in front of the machine to catch any residual water.
  4. Open Filter Cover: Carefully open the drain filter cover using a flat-head screwdriver if necessary.
  5. Drain Residual Water: Slowly unscrew the drain filter cap to allow water to drain into your container.
  6. Clean Filter: Remove any debris, lint, or foreign objects from the filter and housing.
  7. Reassemble: Securely replace the filter and close the access panel properly.
Warning: Always disconnect power before performing any drain maintenance. Residual water may be hot.
