Drain System Guide

Drain Installation Guide

Tools Needed for Drain Installation:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Pliers
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Bucket or container
  • Towels for cleanup

Step-by-Step Drain Installation

  1. Choose Drain Location: Select a proper drain location with adequate height and accessibility for the drain hose.
  2. Prepare Drain Hose: Ensure drain hose is not kinked or twisted and has proper clearance.
  3. Connect Drain Hose: Route the drain hose into a standpipe or laundry tub with a high loop to prevent backflow.
  4. Secure Drain Hose: Use hose clamp to secure drain hose connection and prevent dislodging during operation.
  5. Check Drain Height: Ensure drain height is between 60-90 cm from floor for optimal drainage performance.
  6. Test Drain System: Run a short drain cycle to check for proper water flow and no leaks.
  7. Final Inspection: Verify all connections are secure and water drains completely without backup.
