Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near necessary plumbing, electrical connections, and strong Wi-Fi signal on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from both washer and dryer units.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot and cold water supply lines to the washer's water inlet valves. Use only new hoses.
  4. Connect Drain System: Route the drain hose into a standpipe or laundry tub with a high loop to prevent backflow.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded outlets. Washer: 120V, 60Hz. Dryer: 240V for electric models.
  6. Ventilation Setup: Install proper ventilation for dryer with minimal bends in the ductwork.
  7. ThinQ App Setup: Download LG ThinQ app, create account, and connect both appliances to your home Wi-Fi network.
  8. Level the Units: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure both washer and dryer are level from front to back and side to side.
  9. Test Run: Run both appliances through complete cycles to check for proper operation and connectivity.
