Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Tape measure
- 4-wire power cord (if not included)
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near electrical connection on a solid, level floor with proper ventilation.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
- Install Exhaust Vent: Connect 4-inch diameter metal exhaust duct to the dryer's exhaust outlet.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 240V, 60Hz, 30A dedicated circuit. Do not use an extension cord.
- Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
- Connect to ThinQ App: Download LG ThinQ app and follow instructions to connect dryer to your Wi-Fi network.
- Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and heating.
