Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near necessary electrical and venting connections on a solid, level floor.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
- Connect Venting System: Install proper venting system to exhaust moist air outside. Use rigid metal ducting for best performance.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 240V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
- Connect to ThinQ App: Download LG ThinQ app and connect dryer to your home Wi-Fi network for smart features.
- Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and venting.
