Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Prepare Wall Opening: Cut appropriate hole in wall for piping and drainage according to unit specifications.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Secure mounting plate to wall and hang indoor unit ensuring proper leveling.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using proper flaring tools.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose with proper downward slope to ensure efficient water drainage.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 230V, 50Hz outlet. Follow local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system using vacuum pump and charge with appropriate refrigerant type and amount.
- Test Run: Run the air conditioner through complete cooling and heating cycles to check for proper operation.
