Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Tape measure
  • Vacuum pump and gauge manifold

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Prepare Wall Opening: Cut appropriate hole in wall for piping and drainage according to unit specifications.
  3. Mount Indoor Unit: Secure mounting plate to wall and hang indoor unit ensuring proper leveling.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using proper flaring tools.
  5. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose with proper downward slope to ensure efficient water drainage.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 230V, 50Hz outlet. Follow local electrical codes.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system using vacuum pump and charge with appropriate refrigerant type and amount.
  8. Test Run: Run the air conditioner through complete cooling and heating cycles to check for proper operation.
