Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
- Torque wrench
- Flaring tool
- Pipe cutter
- Level
- Drill with various bits
- Refrigerant scale
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a solid wall location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 50cm from obstacles).
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Opening: Create a 70mm diameter hole through the wall for refrigerant pipes and drainage hose.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper flaring and torque specifications.
- Connect Electrical Wiring: Connect power cables following local electrical codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose with proper downward slope (minimum 1:100 gradient) for effective water drainage.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns vacuum for 15 minutes, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Run system in cooling and heating modes to verify proper operation and check for leaks.
