Wall Mounted Split System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Torque wrench
  • Flaring tool
  • Pipe cutter
  • Level
  • Drill with various bits
  • Refrigerant scale

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a solid wall location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 50cm from obstacles).
  2. Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
  3. Drill Wall Opening: Create a 70mm diameter hole through the wall for refrigerant pipes and drainage hose.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper flaring and torque specifications.
  5. Connect Electrical Wiring: Connect power cables following local electrical codes and manufacturer specifications.
  6. Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose with proper downward slope (minimum 1:100 gradient) for effective water drainage.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns vacuum for 15 minutes, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. Test Operation: Run system in cooling and heating modes to verify proper operation and check for leaks.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may void warranty and cause safety hazards.
