Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely on wall, ensuring it is level. Hang indoor unit on mounting plate.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration pads. Ensure adequate clearance for airflow and maintenance.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using proper flaring tools and torque wrenches.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded electrical outlet according to local electrical codes. Use dedicated circuit.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate system using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Run system through complete cooling and heating cycles to check for proper operation and refrigerant leaks.
