Step-by-Step Installation
- Power Off: Turn off power to the HVAC system at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
- Remove Old Thermostat: Carefully remove the existing thermostat from the wall and disconnect wires, labeling each wire according to terminal.
- Mount New Base: Secure the LG thermostat mounting base to the wall using provided screws and ensure it is level.
- Connect Wires: Connect labeled wires to corresponding terminals on the new thermostat base (R, C, W, Y, G, etc.).
- Attach Thermostat: Carefully snap the LG thermostat onto the mounted base until it clicks into place.
- Power On: Restore power at the circuit breaker and wait for the thermostat to initialize.
- Initial Setup: Follow on-screen prompts to configure language, date/time, and connect to Wi-Fi if applicable.
