Smart Thermostat Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdriver set
  • Wire strippers
  • Voltage tester
  • Level
  • Drill (if needed)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Power Off: Turn off power to the HVAC system at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
  2. Remove Old Thermostat: Carefully remove the existing thermostat from the wall and disconnect wires, labeling each wire according to terminal.
  3. Mount New Base: Secure the LG thermostat mounting base to the wall using provided screws and ensure it is level.
  4. Connect Wires: Connect labeled wires to corresponding terminals on the new thermostat base (R, C, W, Y, G, etc.).
  5. Attach Thermostat: Carefully snap the LG thermostat onto the mounted base until it clicks into place.
  6. Power On: Restore power at the circuit breaker and wait for the thermostat to initialize.
  7. Initial Setup: Follow on-screen prompts to configure language, date/time, and connect to Wi-Fi if applicable.
