Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Opening: Drill a hole through the wall for refrigerant pipes and drainage hose, ensuring proper slope for drainage.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect indoor and outdoor unit pipes, ensuring tight connections and proper insulation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump and charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper cooling, heating, and drainage.
