Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power issue, remote control batteries dead, safety lock activated Check power supply, replace remote batteries, check safety settings
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check for refrigerant leaks, ensure proper airflow
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation, frozen evaporator Clear drain pipe, check installation slope, defrost system
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, compressor issues Tighten components, clean fan blades, contact service if compressor noise
Frozen coils Dirty filters, low refrigerant, faulty fan motor Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, inspect fan operation
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote damage Replace batteries, ensure clear line of sight, test remote
