Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump
- Manifold gauge set
- Torque wrench
- Pipe cutter
- Flaring tool
- Level
- Drill with hole saw
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearances from walls and ceilings, ensuring good air circulation and accessibility for maintenance.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely on wall, ensuring it is level. Hang indoor unit on the plate.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation and adequate clearance for airflow.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using proper flaring techniques and torque specifications.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose with proper slope to ensure condensate water drainage away from the building.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to proper power supply according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant type and quantity.
- Test Run: Run system through complete operation cycle to check for leaks and proper cooling/heating performance.

Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
Unit not starting | Power issue, remote control batteries dead, safety lock activated | Check power supply, replace remote batteries, check safety settings |
Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow | Clean filters, check for refrigerant leaks, ensure proper airflow |
Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation, frozen evaporator | Clear drain pipe, check installation slope, defrost system |
Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, compressor issues | Tighten components, clean fan blades, contact service if compressor noise |
Frozen coils | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, faulty fan motor | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, inspect fan operation |
Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote damage | Replace batteries, ensure clear line of sight, test remote |
