Step-by-Step Drain Installation

  1. Choose Drain Location: Select a location near kitchen plumbing with proper drainage slope and accessibility.
  2. Prepare Drain Connection: Ensure drain hose connection point is clear and free of obstructions.
  3. Connect Drain Hose: Attach drain hose to dishwasher drain outlet using hose clamp. Ensure secure connection.
  4. Route to Drain System: Route drain hose to sink drain or garbage disposal with proper high loop installation.
  5. Secure High Loop: Create high loop under sink counter to prevent backflow and siphoning.
  6. Check Connections: Verify all connections are tight and properly sealed to prevent leaks.
  7. Test Drain System: Run dishwasher through drain cycle to check for proper drainage and leaks.
