Step-by-Step Manual Drain Process
- Power Off: Turn off the washing machine and unplug it from the electrical outlet for safety.
- Locate Drain Filter: Find the drain filter access panel, typically located at the bottom front of the machine.
- Prepare for Water: Place towels on the floor and position a shallow pan or bucket in front of the access panel.
- Open Access Panel: Use a screwdriver or coin to open the drain filter cover. Some models may require pressing a tab.
- Remove Drain Hose: Slowly remove the drain hose from its housing. Water will begin to flow out - direct it into your container.
- Clean Filter: Once water stops flowing, remove and clean the drain filter of any debris or foreign objects.
- Reassemble: Replace the filter, reinsert the drain hose, and close the access panel securely.
